Davido, the popular Afrobeat artist, shared his emotions on Father’s Day as he remembered his late son’s death. He expressed gratitude for his strength but acknowledged that some days are difficult and bring tears to his eyes. Some fans supported him, while others criticized him for prioritizing mourning over his other children. Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, tragically drowned in his father’s pool due to the neglect of his nanny.
Afrobeat Gem, David Adeleke who is popularly known as Davido has been struck by his emotion once more as he celebrates Father’s Day.
The singer who recounted his son’s death took to his Instagram story and detailed his pain.

According to him, he outlined that he is getting better and is willing to stay strong forever but the filth of his memory is strictly gushing tears down his cheeks.
In his words, he said:
“Difficult Father’s Day for me but I thank God for strength. Some days will be like this. Water full my eyes but I will be alright forever”
Some fans encouraged him while some slammed him for snubbing his London-based son and other children to mourn and always pay tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Ifeanyi Adeleke succumbed to the negligence of his Nanny after he drowned in his father’s Banana Island mansion pool.
