Nigerian singer Davido has taken down the music video of his new signee, Logos Olori, after it received backlash from Muslims in Nigeria. The video, titled ‘Jaye Olo’, featured Muslim believers who were shown dancing while engaged in religious activities, which offended many. Davido initially resisted the pressure but eventually deleted the video. As a result, Muslim authorities in Kano and Sokoto have banned the public from listening to Davido’s songs.
Nigerian Afrobeat Gem, Davido has given in to pressure and removed the new music video of his new signee, Logos Olori, which featured Muslim religious faith.
Previously, Davido excitedly shared the music video of Logos Olori, whom he proclaimed as the next big thing in the Nigerian music industry.

While many enjoyed the song, Muslim religious individuals in Nigeria were quick to criticize the visuals after it went viral.
The visual, titled ‘Jaye Olo,’ featured Muslim believers who initially showcased their faith but suddenly started dancing. This did not sit well with Muslim believers, who strongly condemned Davido and threatened to have the video taken down.
Initially resistant, Davido eventually succumbed to the pressure and deleted the video.
Despite the deletion, Muslim authorities in Kano and Sokoto have banned the public from listening to Davido songs.
