Adekunle Gold Opens Up About His Battle with Sickle Cell in Recent Interview

Nigerian artiste, Adekunle Gold, has shared his journey with sickle cell disease in a recent African Voices Changemakers interview. During the 30-minute interview, Adekunle discussed how he has raised awareness and support for those affected by the disease, becoming an advocate in the process. Gold also offers safe spaces for individuals with sickle cell disease.

Adekunle Gold’s interview on living with Sickle Cell Disease aired today at 8:30 a.m. on DSTV Channel 401 and will be available for viewing on Sunday at 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Monday at 4:00 a.m. The interview will also be aired next week.
