Davido Succumbs to Pressure and Removes Controversial Music Video Featuring

Davido, a Nigerian musician, has taken down a music video by his new signee, Logos Olori, following criticism from Muslim believers. The video, titled ‘Jaye Olo’, depicted Muslim believers participating in religious activities before breaking into dance. This did not sit well with some Muslim authorities and civilians, who slammed Davido and threatened to take down the video. Despite resisting at first, Davido eventually succumbed to the pressure and deleted the video. As a result, Muslim authorities in Kano and Sokoto have banned the public from listening to Davido’s songs.
