Kanye West apologized to the Jewish community for his antisemitic remarks before the release of his Vultures album. The 46-year-old rapper, now known as Ye, posted a statement in Hebrew on social media on Tuesday, expressing his regrets. In the statement, he said, “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.” Earlier in the month, during a listening party in Miami, Ye wore a black Ku Klux Klan-style hood while performing the track of his album, Vultures. He also made controversial antisemitic statements during the performance.
