Mr Eazi has rejected a fan’s request to return to his 2013 version, after a public request to do so on Twitter. The fan referred to missing the “Broke” singer of that time, which prompted the response. Mr Eazi quickly denied the request with the statement “God forbid!” on the social media platform. The reaction prompted Mr Eazi to remind followers of his former poverty by saying, “Baba dey miss broke me! Abeg o!” The public exchange prompted a number of reactions on social media.
A fan publicly requested for Afrobeat Maestro Mr Eazi to revert back to his 2013 version, but Mr Eazi vehemently disregarded this request.
He responded using social media, stating that he did not wish to go back to his previous self, possibly as he had faced financial hardships during that year.
