Famous Nigerian singer, Spyro has discussed the type of woman he hopes to marry.
The singer, known for his hit track “Who’s your guy“, shared this in a recent Hip TV interview.
He expressed that he is looking for a woman who is God-fearing and has a strong connection with Jesus. He jokingly referred to these women as “Jesus’ baddies”.
In his own words:
“My ideal is a Jesus’ baddie. That’s what I’m looking for: Know God but still be a baddie. Don’t settle for mediocrity just because you know God. Dress and communicate well. Do the things that bad girls do, but only for your husband.”
Regarding the pressure to choose between gospel and secular music, he stated that his secular songs are suitable for any environment without compromising his values as a Christian.
Spyro said:
“In life, you will always face criticism no matter what you do. We have to take a stand. It’s either you’re hot or you’re cold. You’re either for God or not for God.
“I’ve always been aware that I would face criticism for my beliefs. But it doesn’t mean I’ll change. I’m a Christian who makes music. Just like a banker can represent God in their field, I’m using my platform to talk about him. It doesn’t mean I shouldn’t go about my business.”
