Once Christmas is over, Taylor Swift is looking to reclaim the top spot on the U.K. chart by the end of the week.

Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (via EMI) is currently leading the midweek U.K. chart, moving up from 2 to 1, and is expected to take the No. 1 position for the fourth time.

ABBA’s Gold: Greatest Hits could also make a comeback, potentially reaching No. 3, which would be its highest chart position since 2008. The career retrospective has already spent a record 1,130 weeks on the Official Chart and is still going strong.

Noah Kahan’s Stick Season (Island) is on the rise as well, with a potential move from 8 to 6 on the chart, reaching a new peak. Its track also has a chance to hit No. 1 on the national singles chart.

Midweek sales and streaming data published by the OCC also indicate that collections from Fleetwood Mac (50 Years – Don’t Stop, up 13-7 via Rhino), Michael Jackson (The Essential up 26-18 via Epic), Post Malone’s (The Diamond Collection, up 27-19 via Republic Records) and Elvis Presley (ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits, up 48-35 via RCA) are all on the rise.

Festive records, including Michael Bublé’s Christmas (Reprise), which topped the most recent chart, are expected to start dropping out of the chart as well.

We will find out all the details when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published this Friday, Jan. 5.
